At
Gateway Communications we truly believe in the recognition and development
of our existing talent. To this end, we are thrilled to announce
that Lanre Kolade, who has worked his way successfully through the
ranks, has been promoted to the newly-created position of Managing
Director, Central Africa region.
Lanre has made an amazing success of growing
our business in Cameroon and has time and again shown his tireless
enthusiasm and passion for the business. He is a true home-grown
talent and it is extremely gratifying to see him climbing the promotional
ladder within Gateway Communications. We are certain that this is
only the first of many exciting career developments that he will
enjoy within the Gateway Group.
Central
Africa, our newest region, has come about as the result of our strong
desire to place more focus and attention on growing Gateway’s
business in this part of Africa. This region consists of the following
countries, which collectively comprise CEMAC (the Economic and Monetary
Community of Central Africa): Cameroon; the Central African Republic;
Chad; the Republic of the Congo; Equatorial Guinea and Gabon. We
have also included Sao Tome and Principe, which has strong economic
links to CEMAC, in this new Gateway Communications region.
We firmly believe that this organisational change will significantly
improve our focus on this important and fast-growing region, and
will ensure that Gateway’s servicing of a major portion of
the business coming out of these countries is more efficient than
ever. |
